This helicopter has an interesting story. It's Bell-47J2-AThis helicopter has an interesting story. It's Bell-47J2-A serial number 2091, produced in the Italy in 1965. Purchased by Yugoslav police and registered as YU-HAL. In total thay buy 12 of these helicopters (registration HAC, HAD, HAE, HAF, HAG, CFA, HAI, HAJ, HAK, HAL, HAM, HAO). Later this helicopter (YU-HAL) shifted the Educational Center of Air Traffic in Zagreb, where he was used to retreat. After the retread was donated to the Technical Museum. During the war, at November 27, 1991, because of lack of aircraft, this helicopter was delivered the Croatian army. After transport in ?akovo, it was repaired and used in Slavonian battlefield. They also tried to install a rocket launchers Migthy Mouse, but test flights showed poor effectiveness of that launchers. October 20, 1993. it was returned to the Museum, because of an increase breakdowns and lack of maintenance parts, where it's today.
Original markings werw overpainted (registration "YU-HAL" and mark "OCZS" on the tail and "Obrazovni centar zra?nog saobra?aja Zagreb" on the hull).
