Ce pavillon a été confectionné par Miss Elsey et sa mère pour leur ami le u Lieutenant Higgins . Ce pavillon qui était considéré comme un porte bonheur a flotté au mat du LCT 157 durant le débarquement du 6/006/1944
This flag was made from black-out material by Mr Elsey and his mother for their friend, Sub-Lieutenant Higgins. The legend, 'Shit or Bust', was adopted as Higgins' crew motto. The flag was regarded as a lucky mascot and flown on LCT 157 during the Invasion of Normandy on 6 June 1944.
