Au milieu des années trente August Horch  fondateur des  marques  Horch et Audi fut charché par le Gouvernement allemande de developper une gamme de vehicules à usage militaire mais utilisant le même châssis
Horch  opta pour le chassis de la Horch 901 qui devaint aisni  type 901-40 et qui fut produite entre 1940 et 1943  sous diverses versions
     KFZ 12 jeep  sans porte
     KFZ 15 jeep décapotable
     KFZ 16 jeep décapotable mais sans roue de secours
     KFZ 17 Fourgon
     KFZ 21 Version EM

Skoda choose the  frame of the  Superb numbered 3000/952. The chassis is based on the Superb model 924 was produced in 1941-1943, in three body versions:
KFZ 15 jeep with a folding roof
KFZ 21 staff commander convertible
KFZ 31 ambulance
In the years 1942-1943 were produced 5 Superb models 3000/956  KFZ 15th vehicle had extra reduction gearbox and all-wheel drive.                             

 


Le châssis de la Superb était carossé par l'entrepise Glässer de Dresde; Ce châssis KFZ 15 possèdait diveres composants identiques avec ceux des autres marques Horch Brabd Benz Steyr comme les portière  les siècles arriere les marches pieds  . La partie avant calandre étant propre à chaque marque
